Who it is for

Operators who touch the frames themselves

This workshop suits home miners with a few open-air shelves, small farm staff who rotate cleaning duty, and technicians who want a shared method before summer load. You should be comfortable powering equipment down safely; we do not cover pool configuration or wallet setup.

The result you leave with is practical: a repeatable cleaning sequence, confidence seating replacement fans, and a written schedule for paste checks, filter changes, and bearing replacement triggers.

  • Morning briefing on particulate, humidity, and heat-soak patterns common in Ulsan facilities
  • Guided clean of demo open-air frames and shelf-mounted boards
  • Fan removal, label reading, orientation, and connector seating drills

  • Printed lifespan checklist and photo reference sheet
  • Light lunch and lab PPE (gloves, masks, eye protection)

Not included

  • Replacement fans or thermal paste for your home inventory (we use lab stock)
  • Repairs to damaged PCB traces or PSU failures
  • Hashrate tuning, firmware flashing, or profitability advice
  • Overnight storage of your personal miners (bring photos or a decommissioned unit only if arranged)

Process

How the day runs

  1. Arrival & safety — Lockout habits, ESD awareness, and solvent handling in the Namoe-dong lab.
  2. Diagnose before you brush — Intake photos, temperature notes, and deciding what dust is structural vs cosmetic.
  3. Clean in stages — Dry removal, controlled isopropyl on approved surfaces, filter care, and reassembly checks.
  4. Fan service block — Swap practice on multiple frame styles; verify airflow direction with a simple ribbon test.
  5. Lifespan planning — Build your calendar for paste, bearings, and seasonal humidity steps; Q&A on your photos.

Duration: about 7 hours including breaks · Location: Site Maple Way lab, 736-2,Namoe-dong,Jung-gu,Ulsan,Korea · Cohort: 6–8 participants · Provider: Site Maple Way instructors with farm maintenance backgrounds.

Preparation: Wear closed shoes; bring clear photos of your shelves (labels readable). Optional: one clean, powered-off spare fan of a type you use. Power down any unit you transport—coordinate ahead if you want it on the bench.

Pricing basis: ₩420,000 per person for open lab days. Private group rates listed on the rates page. A seat holds after we confirm your deposit per the refund policy.
